Delta gift cards are issued in US dollars for bookings made in the United States on delta.com and in the app. They apply to the base fare and the taxes and fees of a Delta-marketed flight, and up to three gift cards can be combined on one booking, with any remaining amount paid by card. If the fare is lower than the gift card, the unused balance stays on the card for a future trip — Delta gift cards do not expire and carry no inactivity fees. Delta Vacations packages, SkyMiles purchases, seat upgrades bought after ticketing and in-flight purchases are generally not payable with a gift card; the limits are listed below and in Delta's own terms.

How to redeem your Delta Air Lines code
On the website
- Search and choose your flight on delta.com (Delta-marketed flights, booked in USD).
- On the payment page choose "Delta Gift Card" as a form of payment.
- Enter the 19-digit gift card number and the redemption code from your GiftQubes order page.
- Add up to two more gift cards if needed, then pay any remaining amount with a card and complete the booking.
In the app
- Open the Fly Delta app and find your flight.
- At checkout tap the payment method and choose Delta Gift Card.
- Enter the gift card number and redemption code from your delivery.
- Review the amount applied, pay the rest if any, and confirm.

Limits and terms
Up to three Delta gift cards can be applied to one booking on delta.com or in the app. The card pays the fare and the taxes and fees of Delta-marketed flights; it cannot buy SkyMiles, Delta Vacations packages, most seat and cabin upgrades purchased after ticketing, in-flight purchases or Delta Sky Club memberships, and it cannot be redeemed for cash. No expiry and no fees. Refunds of a ticket paid with a gift card return to the gift card under Delta's fare rules.

If the code does not work
- Enter the gift card number without spaces and the redemption code exactly as shown — Delta's code is case-sensitive.
- Make sure the booking is on delta.com or in the Fly Delta app in US dollars, not on a travel agency site.
- If the site says the card has already been applied, check your Delta account's payment history: the booking may already be paid.
- A fare that is lower than the card leaves a balance on the card — it is not lost. Check the balance on delta.com under Gift Cards.
