Southwest Airlines gift card overview
Southwest gift cards suit the way people actually fly Southwest: lots of short domestic trips, booked directly, with two bags included. How to redeem your Southwest Airlines code
On the website
- Choose your flight on southwest.com.
- On the payment page choose "Southwest gift card" and enter the gift card number and security code from your GiftQubes order page.

- Pay any remaining amount by card and complete the booking.
In the app
- Open the Southwest app and pick your flight.
- At checkout choose Gift card as the payment method and enter the number and security code.
- Pay the rest if any and confirm.

Limits and terms
Several Southwest gift cards can be applied to one booking on southwest.com or in the app. The card pays the fare and taxes and fees of Southwest flights; it cannot buy Rapid Rewards points, Southwest Vacations packages, in-flight purchases or EarlyBird Check-In purchased separately, and it cannot be redeemed for cash. No expiry and no fees. Refunds of a ticket paid with a gift card return to the gift card under Southwest's rules.

If the code does not work
- Enter the gift card number without spaces and the security code exactly as delivered.
- Book on southwest.com or in the Southwest app in US dollars.
- If the balance shows zero, check whether the card was applied to an earlier booking in your account.
- A fare below the card value leaves a balance on the card; check it on southwest.com under Gift Cards.
