American Airlines gift card overview
American Airlines gift cards are among the most flexible airline cards: up to eight can be applied to one booking on aa.com, they never expire, and they cover the fare and taxes of American-marketed flights. Buy one on GiftQubes with Bitcoin, USDT, USDC or any of 25+ coins and networks; the gift card number and the four-digit PIN are delivered to your order page and e-mail; you enter them as payment when you book. AAdvantage miles, status and ticket rules are unaffected.
The card is issued in US dollars for bookings on aa.com and in the American app. It pays for American-marketed flights — including flights operated by American Eagle regional partners when ticketed by American — and cannot be used for AAdvantage mile purchases, American Airlines Vacations packages, in-flight purchases, Admirals Club memberships or most upgrades bought after ticketing. Any unused balance stays on the card.
With eight cards allowed per booking, families can combine several GiftQubes orders on one itinerary, though a single $250–$500 card carries the lowest Qube Price.

How to redeem your American Airlines code
On the website
- Choose your flight on aa.com.
- On the payment page select "Gift card" and enter the gift card number and 4-digit PIN from your GiftQubes order page.
- Add up to seven more gift cards if needed.
- Pay any remaining amount with a card and complete the booking.
In the app
- Open the American Airlines app and choose your flight.
- At checkout choose Gift card as the payment method.
- Enter the number and PIN from your delivery.
- Pay the rest if any and confirm.

Limits and terms
Up to eight American Airlines gift cards can be applied to one booking. The card pays the fare and the taxes and fees of American-marketed flights booked on aa.com or in the app; it cannot buy AAdvantage miles, American Airlines Vacations packages, in-flight purchases, Admirals Club memberships or most post-ticketing upgrades, and it cannot be redeemed for cash. No expiry and no fees. Refunds return to the gift card under American's fare rules.

If the code does not work
- Enter the number without spaces and the 4-digit PIN exactly as delivered.
- Book on aa.com or in the American app in US dollars — travel agency sites cannot take the card.
- If the balance shows zero, check your account's payment history: the card may already be applied.
- A fare below the card value leaves a balance on the card; check it under Gift cards on aa.com.
